ABOUT THE WOODEN CRACKER COMPANY

I love Christmas and its traditions, but I don’t like how wasteful some of those traditions can be. I wanted to design something which could help our Christmases become a little more sustainable, and The Wooden Cracker Company was born.

Every year I look forward to unpacking my favourite decorations. Inspired by this, I developed my wooden cracker to be beautiful, functional and something that I knew I would love unboxing year after year. Part of the appeal of a Christmas cracker is the sound it makes and it was important to me that I didn’t lose this magic. The cork stoppers have been designed to give a satisfying ‘pop’ when the cracker is pulled.

Made from ash and cork, I have designed the crackers with a simple aesthetic to compliment any Christmas table. Plastic free and zero waste, I hope they bring you much joy and become part of your Christmas family traditions for many years to come.
